There's no such thing as "uneventful" with these ponies.
A sequel of sorts to Don't Ask.
So, after a short talk with Fancy-Paints
, I felt inspired to create a follow-up to Don't Ask. I wasn't sure how to, though, but I knew how it'd end.
I hope you guys can read the dialogues okay. Not much because of the colors, though. I think I'm going to stick to this style from now on.
I can't believe I spent an entire day just to come up with a plot for this. But it actually doesn't look half-bad, to be honest.
To be honest, though, I'm not exactly pleased with how it ended. Thinking about it now, it isn't exactly funny and doesn't have the same impact as the other comic. I really need to learn how to actually make funny comics.
A couple of notes:
-Red-Eyed Vinyl was created by BB-K
-I probably should've asked Fancy about her OC's personality before coming up with this comic. *derp*
-Lyra saying "don't ask" is a throwback to the final panel of my Don't Ask comic.
-I had a big selection of cars to put there, alongside the foursome's RV to serve as Fancy's car, and in the end I decided to put a Tesla Model S there because it's sporty (something I love) and it's eco-friendly (something I don't care much about but it seems to be all the hype nowadays).
-Why I had Lyra and Vinyl giving eachother the stink eye? Because I couldn't come up with a decent dialogue for them. And I didn't want to fiddle with the angles too much.
-That stallion is a ponified Markiplier (made by TheDarkDash
) who has a worrying love of blowing stuff up in Minecraft with TNT.
-The creeper holding the "Wade is a douche" sign is a direct reference to Drunk Minecraft
and the name is pretty much self-explanatory.
